PlanIT OS™ Products

Living PlanIT provides a number of products and services to supply and support the PlanIT OS™.

Hardware

Living PlanIT supplies the PlanIT OS™ to customers and partners directly in the form of devices, which embed required software infrastructure products and Living PlanIT software into appropriately sized and configured host hardware. These appliances provide a convenient, scalable way of implementing the PlanIT OS™.

There are four ranges of hardware currently available:

PlanIT Network Controller (PNC) Cisco ISR router with Service Modules, Windows Server, PlanIT OS™ RTC 
PlanIT Development Server (PDS) Cisco ISR router with Service Modules, Windows Server, SQL Server, PlanIT OS™ RTC, PlanIT OS™ Core, PlanIT OS™ API, PlanIT OS™ SDK 
PlanIT Compute Appliance (PCA) Cisco UCS Cluster, Windows Server, SQL Server, PlanIT OS™ Core, PlanIT OS™ API 

PlanIT Embedded Appliance (PEA) LP dual-processor embedded platform, Windows Embedded Compact & Standard, PlanIT OS™ RTC

The embedded appliance is sold typically in solution-specific configurations with the most common being automotive. This configuration consists of the PEA plus LP automotive platform code for media, navigation and infotainment functions.

Software

PlanIT Operating System™ (PlanIT OS™) 
PlanIT OS™ Real Time Controller (PlanIT OS™ RTC)  

Living PlanIT does not license PlanIT OS™ software to customers except in the context of hardware, but does license the PlanIT OS™ to partners for embedding in vertical solutions.

Various software SKUs are available to differing audiences:

• PlanIT OS™ Cloud Edition or OSC is our PlanIT OS™ product for deployment or incorporation with modular, distributable, scalable, managed high-performance computing platforms to deliver distributed PlanIT OS™ server instances, and private and public PlanIT OS™ clusters integrated in buildings, infrastructure and data center environments. OSC instances federate and collaborate to form PlanIT OS™ Clouds supporting spatial control, analytics and applications developed by Living PlanIT, our partners and customers.
• PlanIT OS™ Network Edition or OSN is our PlanIT OS™ Real-Time Control (RTC) product for hardened sensing and control products, enabling converged, robust, remotely managed, networks, which also host sensor aggregation, and real-time control.
• PlanIT OS™ Retrofit Edition or OSRis our PlanIT OS™ Real-Time Control (RTC) product for legacy sensing and control, enabling converged, robust, remotely managed, real estate system assets.
• PlanIT OS™ Embedded Edition or OSE is our PlanIT OS™ Real-Time Control (RTC) product for embedded devices and processors.
• PlanIT OS™ Developer Subscription or OSSis our PlanIT OS™ annual subscription service which provides developers and ISV’s our software development kit to build PlaceApps against a cloud service provider instance of the PlanIT OSC.
